Life as a Bus Driver

Life as a bus driver is an interesting one but not necessarily an easy one. It can be incredibly stressful and tiring, especially on long journeys. Moreover, the people you are trying to help, the passengers, are often difficult and rude.

You have to have an unblemished driving record but it is still a fact of life that traffic accidents do happen, and you may end up needing the services of East Texas Lawyers. But that is a relatively small risk and should not deter you from entering this career.

It can be one of the most stressful jobs in the world when you have a schedule to keep to and there is bad traffic congestion. The passengers often blame you if the bus is late, even if you are frustrated yourself.

You have good days and bad days – luckily the events from the film 'Speed' are relatively few and far between, so a difficult or drunk passenger is usually the most you have to put up with!

But then there is the good side of the job! You do meet some interesting people and you get out and about. If you are lucky enough to be on one of the long distance services, you see some really beautiful parts of the country. And you usually get free or discounted bus travel!
